He closed his eyes and sighed while the girl he was in love with screamed at him for what felt like the millionth time. She seemed to be snapping at him more and more recently. This time he had no idea what he had done to piss her off. And then her words started to slow down from where she was running out of breath from speaking so much. "You know it's not worth it..." She spoke in a trembling voice, biting her lip so hard that her tooth drew blood "We have to call it quits. I can't handle much more..."
He ran his hand through his hair and sighed once again "Are you serious now Macy? Or is this a joke? Because honestly, I am done going back and forth about this with you."
Her eyes widened in complete and total shock. Had Jason really meant what he just said? She closed her eyes and tightened her fist "Yes I am serious this time. We have lost our bond. I give up on this relationship..."
Jason rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Fine whatever." He turned on his heel and walked away leaving her to her own despair. "Goodbye Macy. Have a nice life."
She closed her eyes as tears streamed faster down her face. She sighed, her breath shaky, had she done the right thing? They had been arguing quite a bit lately. He never did anything but annoy her anyway. Their bond was broken. Severed by a knife, right through the very middle. She turned and walked away, ready to move on with her life. She was going to make the best of it. She wouldn't let losing a guy drag her down. She was better than that. She didn't need a man. She was perfectly fine being single and independent. She was happy.
